Neil is a qualified solicitor who maintains his practising certificate, qualifying into the profession with Brooke North, a commercial law firm based in Leeds. Neil has also worked for Arthur Andersen, DLA, Hammonds and latterly was a partner and Head of Tax at Nelson and Co, working over the years for both corporate and individuals and believes in delivering quality of service. He founded Mercury Tax in 2003, trading out of Leeds only and specialising mainly in tax mitigation schemes.
The company has expanded significantly over the last few years and with the help of his co-Directors, the company has grown to include offices in London, Henley and Ireland, and now offers not only a full range of tax services, but also structures financial models and products promoted as both MTG offerings as well as developing products for sale by others.

Eddie is a family man, who has been in financial services since 1971 working in many parts of the world from Central Africa, The Middle East and latterly some Russian satellite countries. He brings a wealth of development experience gained with some of the larger providers – RSA, L&G and Worldwide Ltd.Eddie has joined Mercury to head up Business Relations and to develop new business growth from the existing portfolio.

Helen is a qualified solicitor who, prior to joining Mercury Tax, was the Managing Partner of George Davies Solicitors LLP in Manchester, a legal practice employing 100+ personnel. Helen brings to Mercury Tax a wealth of management and business expertise in addition to her legal skills.

Simon joined Mercury Tax Group in August 2008 and is based in our London office. Simon is a senior private client specialist, having worked in the London market for approximately twenty years. Simon’s role within Mercury is to provide advice and personal tax services to individuals, families and partnerships, while developing business relationships with other advisers.
